The "I will rejoice" song we sing Sunday mornings. Oh my gosh, when the whole congregation is singing and the whole choir is singing "rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice" I get so incredibly happy! A smile takes over my face and I remember what a blessing it is to be a child of the King no matter what may be bringing me down! In everything I will rejoice!
one song that i would love to introduce to monday nights is a shane and shane song. pretty sure it's called before the throne. anyways...it's that song that we sang at the end of Bible study one of the first weeks we had ryan around. they lyrics to the chorus really get me..."because a sinless savior died. my guilty soul is counted free. for God the just is satisfied to look on HIM and pardon me." sooow...yea...i fell in love. :) worship team...consider that a request? :)
There are two that definitely stick out in my mind as songs I have special emotional attachments to. The first is "Here I am to Worship." I sang this song for the first time at one of the first BIG retreats I ever went on. It was a week-long houseboating retreat at Lake Shasta in Redding, CA in the summer of 2002. As we gathered for group by the shore of the lake there was a beautiful sunset near the horizon and this worship song really spoke to me. Towards the end of this retreat, I was baptized for the second time in the lake.
The second worship song I LOVE is "Made to Worship." I sang this one for the first time a couple of years ago at a retreat with the Salem Alliance college group to Seakrest Lodge in Neskowin. That was an awesome retreat. The worship was lead by an old Salem Alliance intern who I hadn't seen in years and it was another song that really spoke to me.
I also LOVE the Hillsong song (boy, try saying that 5 times fast) "Inside Out," that we've been singing on Mondays.
i forgot to tell you this, but i was so excited that we sang before the throne! ryan totally tiped me off in his prayer before the song and i was like "yessss!!!" :) thanks worship team for learning new songs for us and accepting requests. :)
Hey there! Check out our site, designed to fill you in on what's going on with our ministry and hear from fellow 'SELL OUTS' about what it means to know this guy named Jesus. Enjoy...

So, I definitely am fond of Hillsong United songs and David Crowder Band songs.
Among my faves:
Hillsong United -- Consuming Fire, From the Inside Out, The Stand
David Crowder band -- O Praise Him (All This for a King), Only You, Here is Our King, Everything Glorious
(Yeah, I'm indecisive...)
A Mighty Fortress is Our God
It don't get any better than that, except perhaps for:
JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH THEE
THERE'S ROOM AT THE CROSS
AMAZING GRACE
BLESSED ASSURANCE
I guess that's all of them.
